Verdict

A D ★ 4.1/5 ★ 0.8/5

Among the highest scores in the category, and deserved on the protection lens: CoinDCX is a super-app with around $1.2B in assets under management and backing from Coinbase Ventures, registered with FIU-India and spanning spot, futures, lending and staking. The limits are its concentration on the Indian market and not-rock-bottom fees (0.6% taker), with MENA expansion still being built and no access from Italy.

On the sovereign side the super-app loses most of its value: everything is custodial and full-KYC, and the broad suite of integrated services simply means more functions in the intermediary's hands, not more autonomy for the user. No self-custody and no privacy, and the institutional backing from Coinbase Ventures counts for little to anyone chasing trustless, on-chain control.
