Entry without verified data

The information sheet published on the site (June 2026 edition) states six times that rates apply to «deposits opened up to 14/07/2026»: they have expired. The rates it shows (2.55%-3.00% with an internal reference account) are lower than what the product currently offers, indicating a new offer started after 15 July for which the bank has not yet published an updated document.

For this reason this service does not appear in our rankings, comparator or comparison pages: it will once its terms can be verified against a dated official document.

CA Auto Bank — Conto Deposito Tempo

CA Auto Bank S.p.A.

3.0/5 0.4/5 · Data verified on

Conto Deposito Tempo is CA Auto Bank's fixed-term line, available in non-releasable and releasable variants over terms from 6 to 60 months. The rate changes markedly depending on whether the reference account is the bank's own Conto Remunerato or an account at another institution: on the last available document the gap exceeded two points. We keep it out of the rankings because the published terms have expired and the new ones are not yet in the information sheet.

Strengths

  • The rate improves substantially when the reference account is the bank's own Conto Remunerato rather than an external one.
  • A Tempo Svincolabile variant also exists: early exit is allowed, with no penalty but at a reduced withdrawal rate.
  • At maturity the term closes by itself, with no communication required.
  • No notable sovereignty advantage documented.

Weaknesses

  • The published information sheet shows expired rates: current terms must be requested from the bank.
  • With a reference account at another bank the rate collapses: on the last available document it was 0.60% across all terms.
  • It is an add-on to the bank's own Conto Deposito Libero, not a standalone product.
  • Custodial: the platform holds your funds and can freeze or lose them.
  • Full KYC required: verified identity, zero pseudonymity.
  • Subject to regulation (Italian banking licence (Bank of Italy)): reporting to authorities and freezes on order.

Verdict

C D ★ 3.0/5 ★ 0.4/5

Score 3.0/5, average profile. In its favour: the rate improves substantially when the reference account is the bank's own Conto Remunerato rather than an external one. The trade-off to weigh: the published information sheet shows expired rates: current terms must be requested from the bank.

On the Sovereignty lens the score is 0.4/5 (weak): the strength is censorship resistance (1.5/5), while fund control (0.0/5) is the weak link.

FAQ

Why does your data stop at 14 July 2026?

Because that is the date the information sheet itself gives as the limit of the rates' validity: «rates in force for deposits opened up to 14/07/2026». After that date the bank evidently updated its offer, but at the time of our check had not yet published the corresponding document. We do not publish rates the document declares expired.

Is it worth using the bank's own reference account?

On the last available information sheet the difference was enormous: 0.60% across all terms with an external reference account, against 2.55%-3.00% using the CA Auto Bank Conto Remunerato. It is the kind of condition to read before opening, because it changes the return more than any comparison between banks.
