SecuX V20 SecuX V20
A plan bySecuX V20
The SecuX V20 is the flagship hardware wallet from Taiwan's SecuX, with a large 2.8" colour touchscreen and an aluminium body. It protects private keys with an Infineon Solid Flash secure element certified to CC EAL5+ and keeps them offline, requiring manual on-screen approval of transactions. It connects over USB-C or Bluetooth 5 BLE to desktop and mobile apps: the Bluetooth convenience, however, means the device is NOT air-gapped. It is multi-asset (Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC-20, XRP, Litecoin and over 5,000 claimed assets). The official list price is USD 99 (~€92). The firmware is not published as open-source: its security model must be taken on trust.

Strengths
- Infineon CC EAL5+ secure element; large 2.8" colour touchscreen; broad multi-asset support (5,000+ claimed); dual USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity with desktop and mobile apps.
- Self-custody: funds stay in your wallet — the platform cannot touch them.
- No KYC: usable without identity verification.
Weaknesses
- Not air-gapped: the Bluetooth connection widens the attack surface compared with QR/microSD-only wallets; closed-source firmware that cannot be verified in code; no fully offline signing app.
- Closed source: no way to verify what it does with wallet and data.
Verdict
Score 3.8/5, solid profile. In its favour: infineon CC EAL5+ secure element; large 2.8" colour touchscreen; broad multi-asset support (5,000+ claimed); dual USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity with desktop and mobile apps. FAQ
How much does the SecuX V20 cost?
The official list price is USD 99, about €92 at the August 2026 exchange rate. At third-party retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, Newegg) the price can rise to around USD 114.
Is the SecuX V20 air-gapped?
No. It connects to a computer over USB-C and to a phone over Bluetooth 5 BLE. Keys stay in the secure element and transactions must be approved by hand on the touchscreen, but the Bluetooth radio means the device does not run in a fully air-gapped mode.
Which secure element does it use and how many coins does it support?
It uses an Infineon Solid Flash secure element certified to CC EAL5+. SecuX claims support for over 5,000 assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, BNB/BSC and ERC-20 tokens.
